Coventry Churches Mailing
History - C6, as Coventry City Centre Council of Covenanting Churches as was commonly known, organized the mailing to all its members, when C6 decided to lay down the project, many people were concerned that it was an important facility. We are continuing to maintain it.
How does it work? Packages of leaflets and posters are left at Coventry Meeting House in a special box. (Please fold them to A5 size to make it easier.) It is usually restricted to a single item per subject.
Who can join? Any church or voluntary organization in the broader Coventry area.
Who can contribute leaflets and posters? Anyone who has information to share that they think will be of interest to local churches and voluntary organizations. Currently we have 75 subscribers. Surplus leaflets are usually placed in the Chapel of Unity in Coventry Cathedral.
How often? We do a mailing after Meeting on Sundays usually the fourth Sunday of the month. Note the Christmas mailing is compiled on the last Sunday in November and the Easter mailing the fifth Sunday before Easter Sunday.
And the cost? It runs on a very small budget, the cost is £10 for every two years. Please make cheques payable to 'Coventry Churches Mailing' and ensure that we have the full name and mailing address and post to Coventry Churches mailing c/o The Meeting House.
